intake system components are mounted around the upper part of the engine
to
reduce weight and size.
INLET
MANIFOLD
The inlet manifold is made of resin. The inlet
ports are curled for size and weight reduction.
EXHAUST MANIFOLD
A stainless exhaust manifold
incorporating a catalyst has been used.
EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER

Exhaust pipe
and muffler consisting of two separation system has the following
features:
- Improve emission gas cleaning ability by adopting rear exhaust
system and
placing front catalytic converter by engine as close as
possible.
- Down-curved and tip-cut design makes tail pipe less-visible and
gives eco-friendly
and fuel-efficient car impression.
- To avoid claim against rust, place hanger brackets at
less-visible position when
parking.
- For reducing exhaust vibration noise, adopt spherical joint:
between exhaust manifold
and catalytic converter.
