1.A clutch shifter return
spring end is raised and removed with a minus
driver.

1.Apply the specified grease
to the clutch control lever
assembly. Specified
grease:
Mitsubishi Part No. 0101011 or
equivalent

1.Using special tool lock
pin installer(MD998245), install the spirol
pin.

|
1.The following procedure
performs using two minus driver.
- By minus driver, a clutch shifter return spring end
is stuffed into a fulcrum for release fork in the
point of a lever to the back.
- With one more minus driver, in the way of a lever, a
clutch shifter return spring
end is pushed on a fulcrum below and a case height
is attached to it.

1.Apply the specified grease
to the clutch release bearing. Specified
grease:
Mitsubishi Part No. 0101011 or
equivalent

2.The following procedure
performs using two minus driver.
- By minus driver, a spring end is stuffed into a
fulcrum
for release fork in the point of a lever to the
back.
- With one more minus driver, in the way of a lever, a
clutch shifter return spring
end is pushed on a fulcrum below and a case height
is attached to it.

1.Apply grease to the clutch
disc splines and rub it in the splines with a
brush. Specified grease: Mitsubishi Part No.
0101011 or equivalent 2.Using the clutch
disc guide to position the clutch disc on the
flywheel.

|
3.Install the clutch cover,
aligning its installation position with the dowel pins, and
then tighten the bolts to the specified torque of 19 ±
1 N·m in the order
shown in the illustration.
