Code No. P1607: Malfunction of the System Power Supply (low voltage)


DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION


The CVT-ECU determines that the system is defective if too low battery voltage is supplied to the ECU (open circuit in the power supply circuit).

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code
Check whether a diagnosis code other than P1607 is stored.

Q. Is diagnosis code stored?
Carry out the appropriate troubleshooting.
Repair the connector(s) or the wiring harness (BATT, BAT2 line between the CVT-ECU connector and the battery).
