DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
- When an EEPROM writing/reading error of KOS&OSS-ECU is detected, KOS&OSS-ECU sets diagnosis code No.B1157, and flashes the indicator of engine switch in orange.
- When an error is detected to the microcomputer in KOS&OSS-ECU sets diagnosis code No.B1158, and flashes the indicator of engine switch in orange.

- After KOS&OSS-ECU activation
Judgement Criterion
- When the following conditions are met:
- EEPROM writing/reading error is detected.
- ECU internal circuit error is detected.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of KOS&OSS-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.

(1)Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

|
(2)Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
|
|
|
(4)Check again if the diagnosis code is set.
