REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

<<A>> ATF WARMER (A/T FLUID COOLER) REMOVAL

Remove the ATF warmer (A/T fluid cooler) together with the water hose and the bracket from the transmission case front roll stopper bracket. Move the assembly to the battery side and support it not to interfere with the removal and installation of the starter assembly.

<<B>> STARTER COVER REMOVAL

Remove the starter cover mounting bolts. Then remove the starter cover from the side where the ATF warmer (A/T fluid cooler) was installed.

<<C>> HARNESS CLAMP/STARTER CONNECTOR/STARTER TERMINAL REMOVAL
Remove the starter mounting bolts. Then release the wiring harness clamps, the starter connectors and the starter terminals.

<<D>> CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER <M/T> REMOVAL

Remove the bolts as shown and place the clutch master cylinder with clutch tube at the position where it will not interfere with the removal of starter assembly.

<<E>> STARTER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
Remove the starter assembly from above the vehicle.

<<F>> STARTER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

Remove the starter assembly from the side where the ATF warmer (A/T fluid cooler) was installed.
