1.Release the clips shown in
the illustration. 2.Remove the hood latch cover. |

3.Loosen the hood latch
mounting bolts but do not remove them. Then move the hood
latch to align the hood level and adjust the hood striker
engagement. 4.If the hood latch is engaged with the striker properly, tighten the hood latch mounting bolts to 9.0±2.0 N·m. 5.Install the hood latch cover. |

6.Secure the clips shown in
the illustration. |
