  • Close the door and turn the ignition switch to the LOCK (OFF) position, and then check that the power windows operate for 30 seconds.
  • The timer activates by closing the doors and turning the ignition switch to the LOCK (OFF) position. Check if the power windows operates within 30 seconds after the driver's door is opened while the timer is being activated. The timer period will be extended if the driver's door is opened, but the timer will be cancelled if the driver's door is closed while the timer is being activated.<Except vehicles for Australia and New Zealand>
note The customisation function allows you to change the power window timer period from 30 seconds (default setting) to 3, 10 minutes or "without function". Prior to the check, confirm which setting is activated.<Vehicles for Hong Kong and Singapore>
  • Check that the all of the door windows can be operated by using the power window main switch while the timer is on.
note The customisation function allows you to change the power window timer setting from "all of the door windows can be operated by using the power window main switch (default setting)" to "none of the door windows excluding the driver's door can be operated by using the power window main switch". Prior to that check, confirm which setting is activated.
