Pre-removal Operation
  • Air Cleaner Assembly Removal (Refer to ).
  • Main Muffler and Heat Protector Panel Dash Upper Removal (Refer to ).

 Post-installation Operation

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> OXYGEN SENSOR REMOVAL
1.Remove the oxygen sensor connector connection and harness clip.

2.Use special tool oxygen sensor wrench (MB991953) to remove the oxygen sensor.

<<B>> ENGINE ROLL STOPPER ROD ASSEMBLY DISCONNECTION
Disconnect the engine roll stopper rod assembly at the transmission in order to allow sufficient clearance to remove and install the exhaust manifold.

<<C>> EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL

Remove the exhaust manifold from below the vehicle.
