Code No. C1752: FCM radar TEMP. out of range




DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION


If the laser radar detects that the internal temperature of the ECU is 105°C or more, diagnosis code No. C1752 is set.
note This diagnosis code indicates that the protection control of the laser radar is activated and does not indicate a failure.

CHECK CONDITION


When all the following conditions are satisfied.

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.


Reduce the temperature of the laser radar to an appropriate temperature (90°C or less), and check again if the diagnosis code is set in the laser radar.
(1)Move the vehicle to where the sunlight does not affect it, such as inside a building.
(2)Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
(3)Leave the laser radar for a while to reduce the temperature to 90°C or less.
note The temperature of the laser radar can be checked with the service data (Refer to ).
(4)Erase the set diagnosis code.
(5)Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
(6)Start the engine.
(7)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?

Replace the laser radar (Refer to ).
The procedure is complete (The protection control has been activated and no failure has occurred).
