HOW TO RESET MMES


caution If the MMES is reset, all the data stored by customer will disappear. Therefore, prior to the reset, the agreement of the customer should be obtained.
The MMES can be reset by the operations below.

How to reset
1.Power on the MMES.
2.Press the [SRC] button to display the Source screen. Touch the [SET] key to display the Settings screen.

3.Touch the [System] key to display the System tab screen.
4.Press the up arrow key to display "System Check" screen.
5.Press the A section on the screen for at least five seconds.

6."microcomputer version screen" will be displayed.
note This "microcomputer version screen" will be cancelled by pressing the "Back" button or turning the ignition switch from OFF to the ACC position.
7.When "E2P Clear" button is pressed on the microcomputer screen, the MMES will be reset.
8.On the vehicles with rear view camera, resetting the MMEC will switch off the camera image display function. Then set "Camera Interrupt" on the MMES to "NTSC".
How to set the rear view camera
  1. Press the [SRC] button to display the Source screen.
  2. Touch the [SET] key. The Settings screen appears.
  3. Touch the [General] key. The General screen appears.
  4. Touch the [Display] key to display the Display tab screen.
  5. Set "Camera Interrupt" to "NTSC".
