1.Disconnect the EGR gas
temperature sensor connector.
|
|
2.Measure resistance between
terminals No. 1 and No. 2. Standard
value:
55 - 78 kΩ (at
-20°C) 29 - 41 kΩ (at
0°C) 17 - 23 kΩ (at
20°C) 10 - 14 kΩ (at
40°C) 7.1 - 8.8 kΩ (at
60°C) 4.8 - 5.9 kΩ (at
80°C)
3.Remove the EGR gas
temperature sensor 4.Measure resistance while
heating the sensor using a hair drier. Normal
condition:
|
Temperature
(°C)
|
Resistance
(kΩ)
|
Higher
|
Smaller
|
|
5.If the value deviates from the
standard value or the resistance remains unchanged,
replace the EGR gas temperature sensor. 6.Install
the EGR gas temperature sensor and tighten it to the
specified torque. Tightening torque: 20 ±
4 N·m
