DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III data list
(1)Check the following data list.

  • Item No.50: EPB warning lamp
(2)Turn ON the ignition switch, and wait for at least approximately three seconds. "OFF" should be displayed.

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Replace the electric parking brake ECU (Refer to ).

STEP 2. Retest the system

Q. Is the check result normal?
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction).
Replace the combination meter (Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter).
