Code No. C2225 Corner sensor switch




OPERATION


The clearance warning control unit sets diagnosis code No. C2225 when it receives sonar switch ON-signal for at least one minute, or when it detects any open circuit or short to earth in the sonar switch indicator circuit while the sonar switch indicator is deactivated.

Replace the sonar switch (Refer to ).

STEP 3. Check of short to earth circuit in CSW line between the sonar switch connector and clearance warning control unit connector.

Go to Step 4.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

Replace the clearance warning control unit (Refer to ).

STEP 5. Voltage measurement at sonar switch connector (IG11 line terminal).


(1)Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2)Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
(3)Check the voltage between the sonar switch connector (IG11 line terminal) and body earth.
OK: System voltage

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 7.

Go to Step 6.

STEP 6. Check of short to earth, and open circuit in IG line between the ETACS-ECU (IG11) and sonar switch connector.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 7. Check the sonar switch indicator.

Replace the sonar switch (Refer to ).

STEP 8. Check of short to earth, and open circuit in CIND line between the sonar switch connector and clearance warning control unit connector.
