When the system cannot be activated or deactivated by operating the sonar switch, the sonar switch or the clearance warning control unit may have a problem.
note Diagnosis code C2225 may be set.

PROBABLE CAUSES




DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Check of short to earth, and open circuit in CSW line between the clearance warning control unit connector and sonar switch connector.


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 2.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 2. Check of open circuit in S- line between the sonar switch connector and body earth.


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 3. Check the sonar switch.

Go to Step 4.

Replace the sonar switch (Refer to ).
