HOW TO PAIR AND DE-PAIR BLUETOOTH® DEVICE <WITH DISPLAY AUDIO>



A Bluetooth® device can be paired and de-paired with the hands-free module via a touch panel operation on the radio and CD player screen.
note
  • For detail of the hands free module, you can see to access via the MITSUBISHI MOTORS web site. Please read and agree the "Warning about Links to the Web Sites of Other Companies" because it connects other than MITSUBISHI MOTORS web site.

  • Some Bluetooth® devices (cellular phone and music player) may not be compatible with the hands-free module.
  • A maximum of seven Bluetooth® devices can be paired.
  • This system cannot be used when a battery of Bluetooth® devices was exhausted.

HOW TO DISPLAY "BLUETOOTH" SCREEN


1.Select "Phone" button on the "Menu" screen.

2.Select "Setting" button on the "Vehicle Phonebook" screen.

3."Bluetooth" screen will be displayed.

PAIRING BLUETOOTH® DEVICE



1.When no Bluetooth® devices are paired, press the "PHONE" button. When an another Bluetooth® device is paired, select "Pair Device" on the "Bluetooth" screen.
note "Pair Device" is inactive under the following cases:

  • Seven Bluetooth® devices have been paired.
  • Mobile phone is being used.
  • Bluetooth® device(s) are being removed.
  • Pairing with Bluetooth® device(s) are being cancelled.

2."Starting paring to Bluetooth device" will be displayed. Then "Pair Device" screen will be displayed. Enter the passkey (4-digit number), which is displayed on the screen, to the appropriate Bluetooth® device.
note A predetermined 4-digit number may be assigned to some Bluetooth® devices.

3.If the pairing is successfully completed, "Bluetooth device certification process finished with XXXX(Bluetooth® device name)" will be displayed. It will be switched to "Select Device to Connect" screen in several seconds and then display paired Bluetooth® device(s).

DE-PAIRING BLUETOOTH® DEVICE



1.Go to "Bluetooth" screen.

2.If you select "Delete Paired Device" button on "Bluetooth" screen, "Delete Paired Device" screen will be displayed.

3.On "Delete Paired Device" screen, select a Bluetooth® device you want to remove. Then select "Delete" button.
note You cannot select the Bluetooth® device(s) you are using.
4.When "Do you want to delete the Bluetooth device entry?" is displayed, select "Delete" button again.
5.If at least one Bluetooth® device is still paired, it will be switched to "Delete Paired Device" screen. If no devices are paired, it will be switched to "Bluetooth" screen.
