HOW TO PAIR AND DE-PAIR WITH BLUETOOTH® DEVICE USING MULTIVISION DISPLAY


On vehicles with MMCS, a Bluetooth® device can be "paired" and "de-paired" with hands free-ECU by touch panel operation on the multivision display.
note

  • Some Bluetooth® devices (cellular phone and music player) may not be compatible with the hands free-ECU.
  • A maximum of seven Bluetooth® devices can be registered.
  • This system cannot be used when a battery of Bluetooth® devices was exhausted.

DISPLAY THE PAIRING SCREEN.




1.Press "INFO/SET" button.
2.Select "Settings" on the screen.
3.Select "Pairing" on the screen.

4."Pairing" screen will be displayed.

PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH® DEVICE





1.When no Bluetooth® devices are registered (paired), press the "PHONE" button. When an another Bluetooth® device is registered (paired), select "Pair Device" on the "Pairing" screen.
note When the vehicle is being driven, or when the vehicle is driven during the pairing operation, "This function is disabled while driving." is displayed for 4 seconds, and the display returns to the pairing list screen.

2.Refer to the owner’s manual for your device and enter into the device the pin code.
note When "Stop" is selected or the pairing is failed, the display returns to the pairing list screen.

3.When the pairing is completed, the display returns to the pairing list screen.
note When 7 Bluetooth® devices are already paired to the hands free-ECU, "Maximum device paired. Please delete a paired device before pairing a new device." is displayed.

DE-PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH® DEVICE




1.Display the pairing list screen, and select the "Select Device to Connect" to be de-paired.

2.Select "Delete."

3.When "Erase" is selected, the Bluetooth® device is de-paired (deleted) and the display returns to the pairing list screen.
