COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM


When one of the daytime running lamps does not illuminate, the wiring harness, connector(s), or headlamp assembly may have a problem, or the fuse may be burned out.

PROBABLE CAUSES




DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Check of open circuit in output line between the daytime running lamp relay connector and daytime running lamp (LH) connector or daytime running lamp (RH) connector.


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 2.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 2. Retest the system


Check that the daytime running lamp function normally.

Q. Is the check result normal?

The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to use Troubleshooting/inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction).

Replace the headlamp assembly.
