Yaw rate signal error

Before replacing the ECU,
ensure that the power supply circuit, the earth circuit and the communication circuit are normal.

OPERATION
The BSW-ECU (master) receives G and yaw rate sensor signal from the ASC-ECU via the gateway-ECU
through the CAN bus lines.
CHECK CONDITION
Ignition switch is in the ON position.
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
When the BSW-ECU (master) receives an invalid G and yaw rate sensor signal from the ASC-ECU,
the ECU will set diagnosis code No. C2331.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- The ASC system fails
- Malfunction of BSW-ECU (master)
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. M.U.T.-III other system diagnosis code
Check if the diagnosis code is set in the ASC-ECU.

Is the diagnosis code set?
Diagnose the ASC-ECU (Refer to GROUP 35C - Troubleshooting - Diagnosis
Code Chart).
Go to Step 2.
STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.
Check again if the diagnosis code is set in the BSW-ECU (master).

(1)Erase the diagnosis code.

(2)Turn the engine switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.

(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the BSW-ECU (master).
Intermittent malfunction is suspected (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use
Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to cope with Intermittent Malfunction).
