FUEL TANK GAUGE UNIT REPLACEMENT

2.Remove the service hole cover.

3.Disconnect the fuel tank gauge unit harness connector. 4. caution Pay attention not to damage the gauge unit and the float of the fuel tank gauge unit when withdrawing it from the service hole. Remove the fuel tank gauge unit mounting nuts and remove the fuel tank gauge unit from service hole. 5. caution Pay attention not to damage the gauge unit and the float of the fuel tank gauge unit when inserting it from the service hole. Install the fuel tank gauge unit to the fuel tank through the service hole, and tighten the mounting nuts. 6.Connect the fuel tank gauge unit harness connector. 7.Return the floor carpet and slide the front seat (R.H.).

2.Remove the service hole cover (upper side). 3.Remove the second seat (R.H.) (Refer to GROUP 52A - Second Seat ). 4.Remove the rear scuff plate (R.H.) and lower centre pillar trim (R.H.) (Refer to GROUP 52A - Trim ). 5.Remove the rear heater grille (R.H.) <Vehicles with Dual A/C> (Refer to GROUP 55 - Duct <Rear side> ). 6.Turn up the floor carpet.

7.Remove the service hole cover located between the front seat and the second seat.

8.Disconnect the fuel tank gauge unit harness connector. 9. caution Pay attention not to damage the gauge unit and the float of the fuel tank gauge unit when withdrawing it from the service hole. Remove the fuel tank gauge unit mounting nuts and remove the fuel tank gauge unit from service hole. 10. caution Pay attention not to damage the gauge unit and the float of the fuel tank gauge unit when inserting it from the service hole. Install the fuel tank gauge unit to the fuel tank through the service hole, and tighten the mounting nuts. 11.Connect the fuel tank pump gauge unit harness connector. 12.Install the service hole cover located between the front seat and the second seat. 13.Restore the floor carpet, and then install the rear heater grille (R.H.) <Vehicles with Dual A/C> (Refer to GROUP 55 - Duct <Rear side> ). 14.Install the lower centre pillar trim (R.H.) and rear scuff plate (R.H.) (Refer to GROUP 52A - Trim ). 15.Install the second seat (R.H.) (Refer to GROUP 52A - Second Seat ). 16.Install the service hole cover (upper side). 17.Restore the second seat (R.H.).
