Table ). Then go to Step 6.

Is diagnosis code No. U1108 set?

Repair the MPI system. (Refer to GROUP 13A - Troubleshooting, Inspection
Procedures for Diagnosis Code, Code No. U1108: Combination Meter Time Out ) <6G72> or
(Refer to GROUP 13B - Troubleshooting, Inspection Procedures for Diagnosis Code, Code
No. U1108: Combination Meter Time Out ) <6G75>.
Then go to Step 6.

Check the combination meter operation.

Is the check result normal?

|
Repair the combination meter system. (Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination
Meter, Troubleshooting, Inspection Procedure 1 ). Then go to
Step 6.

Is the check result normal?

|
Replace the combination meter. (Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter ).
Then go to Step 6.

Does the auto-cruise control indicator lamp illuminate when the "ON/OFF" (MAIN) switch
is turned ON?

|
It can be assumed that this malfunction is intermittent (Refer to GROUP 00 - How
to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
|
|
|
|
Replace the engine-ECU <M/T> or engine-A/T-ECU <A/T> (Refer
to GROUP 13A - Engine-ECU and Engine-A/T-ECU ) <6G72> or
(Refer to GROUP 13B - Engine-ECU and Engine-A/T-ECU ) <6G75>.
Then go to Step 6.
