  • Cover with a shop towel to prevent the piston from popping out.
  • Apply compressed air slowly to prevent brake fluid from splashing.

Remove the piston and piston cup from the release cylinder using compressed air.

REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINT

Apply brake fluid to the outer surfaces of the piston and piston cups and inner surface of the release cylinder, and then insert into the release cylinder.
Specified lubricants: Brake Fluid DOT 3 or DOT 4
