DISASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> ROLLER BEARING REMOVAL

Using special tool Remover (MD998801), remove the roller bearing to the counter shaft cluster gear.

<<B>> BEARING SLEEVE REMOVAL

Using special tool Remover (MD998801), remove the bearing sleeve to the counter shaft cluster gear.

<<C>> ROLLER BEARING REMOVAL

Using special tool Remover (MD998801), remove the roller bearing to the counter shaft cluster gear.

>>C<< SUB GEAR SPRING/SUB GEAR/SNAP RING INSTALLATION

1.Insert the long leg of the spring in the hole in the countershaft cluster gear.

2.Fit the sub gear on the countershaft cluster gear while inserting the short leg of the spring in the hole C in the sub gear.
3.Insert the snap ring.
4.Turn the sub gear clockwise T until the hole A in the sub gear is aligned with the hole B in the countershaft cluster gear.

5.Insert a bolt (M5 × 50 mm) in the aligned holes A and B.
6.Keep the bolt attached until the countershaft cluster gear has been assembled in the transmission case.

>>D<< ROLLER BEARING INSTALLATION

Set special tool Bearing remover (MD998801), using special tools to install the roller bearing to the counter shaft cluster gear.

>>E<< SNAP RING INSTALLATION

Select a snap ring which will make the counter shaft cluster gear bearing end play equal to the standard value.
Standard value: 0 - 0.15 mm
