REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< OIL SEAL INSTALLATION

1.Use the special tools to install the oil seal.

  • Installer adapter (MB990929)
  • Handle (MB990938)
2.Apply specified grease to the lip of the oil seal.
Specified lubricants:
Mitsubishi Part No. 0101011 or equivalent

>>B<< SEALING CAP INSTALLATION

1.Press the sealing caps into the dimensions shown in the illustration so that they are not slanted.
2.Apply sealant as shown in the illustration.
Specified sealant:
    3MTM AAD part No. 8672 or equivalent

>>C<< PARKING SPRAG SPRING INSTALLATION

Attach the end of the spring to the position shown in the illustration.
