REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< OIL SEAL INSTALLATION

1.Use special tools to install the oil seal.

Installer adapter (MB990936)
Handle (MB990938)

2.Apply specified grease to the lip of the oil seal.
Specified lubricants:
Mitsubishi Part No. 0101011 or equivalent

>>B<< SEALING CAP INSTALLATION

1.Press into the dimensions shown in the illustration so that it is not slanted.
2.Apply the sealant as shown in the illustration.
Specified sealant:
3M™ AAD Part No. 8672 or equivalent

>>C<< PARKING SPRAG SPRING INSTALLATION

Attach the end of the spring to the position shown in the illustration.
