REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINT

caution Evenly squeeze out and apply the sealant so that it is not excessive and dose not ooze out.

After squeezing out and applying the sealant on the transfer case adapter at the section indicated in the illustration, install onto the transmission case.
Specified sealant:
Mitsubishi Part No. MD997740 or equivalent
