STEP 1. Hydraulic brake booster (HBB) operation check
Refer to GROUP 35A, On-vehicle service .

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Replace the hydraulic brake booster (HBB).

STEP 2. Retest the system.

Q. Can any faults be found with the brake operation?
Check the brake system related components except ABS. Then go to Step 3.
The procedure is complete.

STEP 3. Retest the system.

Q. Can any faults be found with the brake operation?
Repair the ABS-ECU.
