When the G and yaw rate sensor is replaced, the learned neutral point of the G and yaw rate sensor is erased, and ASC OFF indicator illuminates to warn that the ASTC-ECU is not initialised yet, and diagnosis code No.81 and No.82 are set. In this case, use the following procedure to initialise the G and yaw rate sensor.

1.Place the vehicle on a level surface.
|
|
|
2.After turning the ignition switch to the "LOCK"(OFF) position, place M.U.T.-III
|
|
|
3.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
|
|
|
4.Perform Item No.16 of the actuator test.
|
|
|
5.Ensure that the ASC OFF indicator has been turned OFF.
|
|
|
6.Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK"(OFF) position.
