Inspection Procedure 3: When the Ignition Switch is Turned to "ON" Position (Engine Stopped), the SRS Warning Lamp does not Illuminate.
Inspection Procedure 4: After the Ignition Switch is Turned to the "ON" Position, the SRS Warning Lamp does not Go Off within Approximately Seven Seconds.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION (COMMENT)

• The SRS-ECU sends the SRS warning lamp signal to the combination meter via the CAN communication.
  
• This may be caused by faults in the CAN bus line, the combination meter or the SRS-ECU.
  

PROBABLE CAUSES

• Damaged wiring harness or connector
  
• Combination meter defect
  
• Malfunction of the SRS-ECU
  

	Replace the SRS-ECU (Refer to).

	Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54D, Diagnosis ).
