SPEEDOMETER CHECK

For the super select 4WD, perform the measurement as follows.
caution
  • Always move the transfer shift lever to "2H." (Otherwise, the vehicle may suddenly start, and the drive system may be damaged.)
  • Do not accelerate or decelerate suddenly.
  • Keep the front wheels on the ground.
1.Check that the current tyre inflation pressures meet the value specified on the inflation pressure label.

2.Set the rear wheels on the speedometer tester.
3.Chock the front wheels to prevent the sudden start of the vehicle.

4.For prevention of front wheel lateral runout, install extension fittings on rear towing hook and tie down hook, and install both ends of anchor plate.
5.Check that the speedometer indicating range is within the standard value or the needle fluctuation is within the limit.
