COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM


The ambient temperature display will be frozen if the centre display unit have received abnormal data from the A/C-ECU and via M-bus communication.

PROBABLE CAUSES



DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. Connector check: D-08 A/C-ECU connector, D-106 centre display unit connector

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair the defective connector.

STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between D-08 A/C-ECU connector terminal No.32 and D-106 centre display unit connector terminal No.11.

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Repair the wiring harness.

STEP 3. Retest the system
Confirm that the A/C-ECU operation screen is displayed normally.

Q. Is the check result satisfactory?
The procedure is complete.
Go to step 1.
