Inspection Procedure 6: The Radio and CD Player or CD Changer Information cannot be Displayed or the Display is not Normal.

COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM

The radio and CD player or CD changer operation screen will be frozen if the centre display unit have received abnormal data from the radio and CD player or CD changer and via M-bus communication.

PROBABLE CAUSES

Malfunction of radio and CD player or CD changer
Damaged wiring harness and connectors

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. Connector check: D-211 radio and CD player or CD changer connector, D-106 centre display unit connector

Q. Is the check result normal?

	Go to Step 2.

	Repair the defective connector.

STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between D-211 radio and CD player or CD changer connector terminal No.9 and D-106 centre display unit connector terminal No.2.

Q. Is the check result normal?

	Go to Step 3.

	Repair the wiring harness.

STEP 3. Retest the system

Confirm that the radio and CD player or CD changer operation screen is displayed normally.

Q. Is the check result satisfactory?

	The procedure is complete.

	Go to step 1.
