1.Check that the idle speed
is within the standard value, and adjust if necessary.
(Refer
to GROUP 11E  )
2.Adjust
the accelerator cable.
3.Stop the engine, depress
the accelerator pedal fully to wide-open the throttle lever
of the fuel injection pump.

Always open the throttle lever
by depressing the accelerator pedal, not by
operating it directly at the injection
pump.

4.While the accelerator pedal is depressed
fully, adjust the stroke of the lever position
switch rod by moving the switch so that the rod is pushed in
4 ± 0.5 mm from its free position.
