REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION



caution
  • When the engine-ECU is replaced, another ECU related to KOS system should not replaced together. Always replace the ECU by ones when the multiple ECU is replaced, and then replace the next ECU after registering the necessary IDs by using M.U.T.-III.
  • When the engine-ECU is replaced, coding must be performed.
  • When the engine-ECU is replaced, using M.U.T.-III to write the chassis number. (Refer to GROUP 00, Precautions before Service - How to Perform Chassis Number Writing.)
  • When the engine-ECU is replaced, register the injector identification code and perform the small injection quantity learning (Refer to GROUP 00 - Precautions Before Service, What The Common Rail Engine Learns ).
  • When the engine-ECU is replaced, make the battery current sensor learn the neutral point by using M.U.T.-III (Refer to GROUP 00 - Precautions before Service, Battery Current Sensor Calibration ) <EURO5>.
Pre-removal Operation
  • Cowl Side Trim Removal (Refer to GROUP 52A - Trim).

Post-installation Operation
  • Cowl Side Trim Installation (Refer to GROUP 52A - Trim).
