REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <4N1>


caution
  • When removing or installing the EGR gas temperature sensor, be careful not to apply impact to the EGR gas temperature sensor.
  • Do not reuse the EGR gas temperature sensor that has been dropped.
Pre-removal Operation
  • Throttle Body Assembly Removal (Refer to GROUP 13C - Throttle Body Assembly ).
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Removal (Refer to GROUP 11F - Solenoid Valve and Vacuum hose ).

 Post-installation Operation
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Installation (Refer to GROUP 11F - Solenoid Valve and Vacuum hose ).
  • Throttle Body Assembly Installation (Refer to GROUP 13C - Throttle Body Assembly ).

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

Position the projection as shown in the illustration.

>>B<< INLET MANIFOLD INSTALLATION

Tighten inlet manifold mounting bolts and nuts to the specified torque in the order of number shown in the illustration.
Tightening torque: 20 ± 2 N·m
