caution
  • Do not drop or hit the detonation sensor against other components. Internal damage may result, and the detonation sensor will need to be replaced.
  • When the detonation sensor replacement is performed, use the M.U.T.-III to initialise the learning value (Refer to GROUP 00 - Precautions Before Service, Initialisation Procedure for Learning Value in MPI Engine ).
Pre-removal operation
  • Inlet Manifold Removal (Refer to GROUP 15 - Inlet Manifold ).

 Post-installation operation
  • Inlet Manifold Installation (Refer to GROUP 15 - Inlet Manifold ).




Removal steps

 Right bank detonation sensor

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

1.Install the harness between inlet manifold and bank stiffener for prevent nipping.
2.Fix the harness and delivery pipe assembly right securely with cable band as shown.
