REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Pre-removal Operation

Move the selector lever to the following positions.

Selector lever: N

Post-installation Operation

Transmission Control Cable Adjustment (Refer to ).
Check that the selector lever is moved to each position smoothly and correctly.

REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

<<A>> MACHINE SCREW/SELECTOR LEVER KNOB/SELECTOR LEVER KNOB GARNISH REMOVAL

1.Push down the boot ring on the selector lever boot to disengage it from the selector lever knob.
2.Push down the selector lever knob garnish to disengage it from the selector lever knob.
3.Remove the machine screw to remove the selector lever knob.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

>>A<< SELECTOR LEVER KNOB GARNISH/SELECTOR LEVER KNOB/MACHINE SCREW INSTALLATION

1.Install the selector lever knob to the selector lever.
2.Tighten the new machine screw to the specified torque.
3.Pull up the selector lever knob garnish to engage it with the selector lever knob.
4.Pull up the boot ring on the selector lever boot to engage it with the selector lever knob.
