Inspection Procedure 16: Kick-down is not performed

COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM

If the kick-down is not performed even when the accelerator pedal is depressed, the cause is probably a malfunction of the shift solenoid No.1 system or shift solenoid No.2 system.

PROBABLE CAUSES

Malfunction of shift solenoid No.1 system
Malfunction of shift solenoid No.2 system

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III actuator test

Item 1: shift solenoid No.1
Item 2: shift solenoid No.2

OK: Operating sound can be heard.

Q. Is the check result normal?

	This diagnosis is complete.

	Repair the shift solenoid No.1 system and shift solenoid No.2 system.
