Inspection Procedure 19: Kick-down is not performed

COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM

If the kick-down is not performed even when the accelerator pedal is depressed, the cause is probably a malfunction of the shift solenoid (SR) system or shift solenoid (SB) system.

PROBABLE CAUSES

Malfunction of shift solenoid (SR) system
Malfunction of shift solenoid (SB) system

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III actuator test

Item 1: shift solenoid 1
Item 2: shift solenoid 2

OK: Operating sound can be heard.

Q. Is the check result normal?

	This diagnosis is complete.

	Repair the shift solenoid (SR) system and shift solenoid (SB) system.
