DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS

When the clutch control solenoid No.1 current is 1,330 mA or more (1 drive cycle), code No.P0967 is set.

PROBABLE CAUSES

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. Measure the resistance at A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector.

Disconnect the connector, and measure the resistance between terminal SL1 line and terminal SL1G line at the solenoid side.
OK: 5.0 - 5.6 Ω (A/T fluid temperature 20°C)

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check for short circuit in SL1, SL1G line between A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector and line pressure control solenoid.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 5.
Repair or replace the solenoid harness or valve body (clutch control solenoid No.1).

STEP 3. Measure the resistance at A/T-ECU connector.

Disconnect the connector, and measure the resistance between terminal SL1 line and terminal SL1G line at the harness side.
OK: 5.0 - 5.6 Ω (A/T fluid temperature 20°C)

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 5.
Go to Step 4.

STEP 4. Check short circuit in SL1, SL1G line between A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector and A/T-ECU connector.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 5.
Repair the connector(s) or the wiring harness.

STEP 5. Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.

Check again if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is diagnosis code No.P0967 set?

Replace the A/T-ECU.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction).
