DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS


When the line pressure control solenoid current is 90 mA or less (1 drive cycle), code No.P0962 is set.

PROBABLE CAUSES



DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. Measure the resistance at A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector.
Disconnect the connector, and measure the resistance between terminal SLTG and terminal SLT line at the solenoid side.
OK: 5.0 - 5.6 Ω (A/T fluid temperature 20°C)

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check for open circuit, short circuit in SLT, SLTG line between A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector and line pressure control solenoid.

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 5.
Repair or replace the solenoid harness or valve body (line pressure control solenoid).

STEP 3. Measure the resistance at A/T-ECU connector.
Disconnect the connector, and measure the resistance between terminal SLT line and terminal SLTG line at the harness side.
OK: 5.0 - 5.6 Ω (A/T fluid temperature 20°C)

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 5.
Go to Step 4.

STEP 4. Check for open circuit, short circuit in SLT, SLTG line between A/T control solenoid valve assembly connector and A/T-ECU connector.

Q. Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 5.
Repair the connector(s) or the wiring harness.

STEP 5. Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.
Check again if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is diagnosis code No.P0962 set?
Replace the A/T-ECU.
