Code No.P2758: Lock-up solenoid system (ON sticking)

OPERATION

DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS

While the engine is running, when the selector lever is in D range, the coolant temperature is 40°C or more, the drive mode selector position is in other than 4L/4LLc, and the shift range is in 2nd/3rd/4th/5th, if a status continues for 2.6 seconds with which the difference between the engine speed and input shaft speed is less than 35 r/min (2 drive cycle), code No.P2758 is set.

PROBABLE CAUSES

Malfunction of valve body (lock-up solenoid)
Damaged harness wires and connectors
Malfunction of the A/T-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III actuator test

Item 4: Lock-up solenoid

OK: Operating sound can be heard.

Q. Is the check result normal?

	Go to Step 2.

	Repair or replace the solenoid harness or valve body (lock-up solenoid and solenoid).

STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.

Check again if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is code No.P2758 set?

	Replace the A/T-ECU.

	Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction).
