DISASSEMBLY

1. TRANSMISSION CASE ADAPTER TUBE REMOVAL

Remove the 2 tubes from the transmission case adapter.

2. TRANSMISSION CASE ADAPTER OIL SEAL REMOVAL
caution Be careful not to damage the transmission case adapter.
Remove the transmission case adapter oil seal from the transmission case adapter.

3. TRANSMISSION CASE ADAPTOR REMOVAL

1.Remove the 10 bolts to remove the transmission case adapter.
SIZE: Bolt
M10 x 1.5 x 44 mm

2.Remove the O-ring from the transmission case adapter.

REASSEMBLY

1. TRANSMISSION CASE ADAPTER INSTALLATION

caution
  • Be careful not to damage the transmission case adapter oil seal.
  • Be careful not to damage the transmission case adapter.
Coat a new O-ring with ATF, and install it to the transmission case adapter.
SIZE: O-ring
Inner diameter: 69.00 mm
Thickness: 2.62 mm

2.Install the transmission case adapter with the 10 bolts to the transmission case.
SIZE: Bolt
M10 x 1.5 x 44 mm
3.Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 34 ± 7 N·m

2. TRANSMISSION CASE ADAPTER OIL SEAL INSTALLATION
caution
  • Be careful not to damage the transmission case adapter oil seal.
  • Be careful not to damage the transmission case adapter.

Using special tool bush remover and installer spacer (MB991446) and a hammer, install the new transmission case adapter oil seal to the transmission case adapter.
Dimension:
0 - 0.5 mm (From the end of the transmission case adaptor)

3. TRANSMISSION CASE ADAPTER TUBE INSTALLATION
caution
  • Be careful not to damage the transmission case adaptor.
  • Be careful not to damage the transmission case adaptor tube.

Install the 2 tubes to the transmission case adapter.
Dimension:
15.5 - 16.5 mm (From the end of the transmission case adaptor)
