REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

<<A>> PARKING BRAKE REAR CABLE REMOVAL

1.Feed a 13-mm box-end wrench into the parking brake cable, and depress it until the stopper tabs are compressed together.
2.Pull out the parking brake cable through the rear side of the backing plate.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

1.Pull back the parking brake cable to assure it is tightly fastened to the cable retainer.

2.
caution Check that the equaliser and the parking brake rear cable are connected correctly. If the parking brake is applied with the equaliser and the parking brake rear cable connected improperly, the equaliser may be damaged.
Connect the parking brake rear cable to the equaliser as shown in the figure.
