Perform lining seating by the following procedure when replacing the parking brake shoe assemblies or the rear brake discs, or when brake performance is insufficient.

|
1.Adjust the parking brake lining shoe (Refer to  ).
|
|
|
2.Pull and hold the electric parking brake switch under the following conditions:
- Drive the vehicle at a constant speed of 20 - 30 km/h for 100 meters.
|
|
|
3.Release the electric parking brake and let the brakes cool for five to ten minutes.
|
|
|
4.Repeat the procedure in steps 2. to 3. two to three times.
When the road wheels are locked halfway, further operation is not needed.
