HEATED SEAT SWITCH (FRONT) CONTINUITY CHECK <Vehicles with heated seat (front)>

Check for continuity between terminals.

	OFF	1 - 5, 3 - 5, 5 - 8	Open circuit
	LO	3 - 5	Continuity exists (2Ω or less)
RH seat side	HI	4 - 5, 8 - 9	Continuity exists (2Ω or less)
	OFF	4 - 5, 5 - 8, 5 - 9	Open circuit
	LO	5 - 9	Continuity exists (2Ω or less)

HEATED SEAT (FRONT) CHECK <Vehicles with heated seat (front)>

1.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C

Tester connection
Specified condition

3 - 2
9.00 - 10.99 Ω

2.If a defect is found, check the seat back heater.
3.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C

Tester connection
Specified condition

1 - 2
5.20 - 6.34 Ω

4.If a defect is found, replace the seat cushion heater.

5.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C

Tester connection
Specified condition

1 - 3
3.82 - 4.66 Ω

6.If a defect is found, replace the seat cushion heater.

SEAT BACK HEATER CHECK

1.Refer to front seat disassembly

2.Disconnect between the seat cushion heater connector and seat back heater connector, and measure at the seat back heater side.

3.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C

Tester connection
Specified condition

1 - 2
4.96 - 6.06 Ω

4.If a defect is found, replace the seat back heater.
5.If a defect is not found, replace the seat cushion heater.
