HEATED SEAT SWITCH (SECOND) CONTINUITY CHECK <Vehicles with heated seat (second)>

Check for continuity between terminals.

HEATED SEAT RELAY (SECOND) CONTINUITY CHECK <Vehicles with heated seat (second)>
Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, Relay Inspection .

HEATED SEAT (SECOND) CHECK <Vehicles with heated seat (second)>

1.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C
Tester connection
 Specified condition
1 - 2
 2.20 - 2.68 Ω
2.If a defect is found, check the seat cushion heater or seat back heater.
3.Reconnect between the seat cushion heater connector and seat back heater connector, and measure the resistance between the terminals at the seat cushion heater side.
4.If a defect is found, replace the seat cushion heater.

SEAT CUSHION HEATER CHECK


1.Refer to second seat disassembly .
2.Disconnect between the seat cushion heater connector and seat back heater connector, and measure at the seat cushion heater side.

3.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C
Tester connection
 Specified condition
1 - 2
 3.82 - 4.66 Ω
4.If a defect is found, replace the seat cushion heater.

SEAT BACK HEATER CHECK

1.Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Check condition: At room temperature 20 °C
Tester connection
 Specified condition
1 - 2
 5.02 - 6.12 Ω
2.If a defect is found, replace the seat back heater.
