A camera image is displayed when the selector lever is moved to the R position, but it is not switched when the multi around monitor operation switch is pressed. In this case, the camera input signal system may be defective.

STEP 2. Check the operation of the audio remote control switch.


Check that the audio remote control switch operation normally.

Go to Step 3.

Troubleshoot the audio remote control switch (Refer to ).

STEP 3. Check of short to power supply, short to earth, and open circuit in SW1, GND line between multivision display connector and steering wheel remote control switch (LH) connector.


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 4.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 4. Check the multi around monitor operation switch (steering wheel remote control switch).


Check the multi around monitor operation switch (Refer to ).

Q. Is the check result normal?

Replace the multivision display (Refer to ).

Replace the steering wheel remote control switch (Refer to ).

STEP 5. Retest the system.


Q. Is the check result normal?

The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).

Replace the camera-ECU (Refer to ).
