COMMENT ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM


When no image is displayed, the multivision display may have a problem.

PROBABLE CAUSES



DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code.


Check if diagnosis code is set in the camera-ECU.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?

Diagnose the camera-ECU (Refer to ).

Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check the multivision display operation.


Check if the multivision display normally and the sound is output.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.

Troubleshoot the MMES (Refer to ).

STEP 3. Check of open circuit in VOUT, SOUT, C-ON and CMSW lines between multivision display connector and camera-ECU connector.


Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 4.

Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 4. Retest the system.


Q. Is the check result normal?

The procedure is complete. (If no malfunctions are found in all steps, an intermittent malfunction is suspected. Refer to GROUP 00 / How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).

Replace the multivision display (Refer to ).
