GENERAL INFORMATION

This system allows the driver to call a phone to a public safety answering point manually or automatically, thus mitigating a personal injury or a vehicle damage.

When the e-Call switch is pressed, the system will call the public safety answering point, thus allowing the driver to make an emergency call.
When the system detects a vehicle collision, it will give a call to the public safety answering point to inform of a current vehicle position and information.

Combination meter		-	Sends odometer information to the e-Call control unit via CAN communication.
ETACS-ECU		-	Sends vehicle information to the e-Call control unit via CAN communication.
Engine-ECU		-	Sends vehicle speed signal or chassis number information to the e-Call control unit via CAN communication.
SRS-ECU		-	Sends crash signal to the e-Call control unit via CAN communication or hard wire.
