TEST MODE



The e-Call switch allows the indicator, the speaker or the microphone to enter a respective test mode.
note When you test a component by means of a test mode, you should park the vehicle in a well-ventilated area.
1.When the ignition switch or the operation mode is set to OFF, set the ignition switch or operation mode ON while pressing the e-Call switch.
2.Perform Step 3 and 4 within 20 seconds after the red lamp and green lamp illuminate.
3.Release finger from the e-Call switch.
4.Press the e-Call switch 3 or more times.
5.After approximately 20 seconds from Step 2, the red lamp and green lamp extinguish and buzzer sounds 3 times.
note If the buzzer does not sound, repeat the process from Step 1.
6.Approximately 60 seconds later, the green lamp flash. If press the e-Call switch within 20 seconds, the mode changes to the test mode.
7.Within approximately 20 seconds after the mode is changed to the test mode, press the e-Call switch for one of the following periods to select the desired test type.

REPORT TEST TO THE EMERGENCY CALL CENTRE or TEST OF THE ERA-GLONASS SYSTEM EQUIPMENT OF THE VEHICLE

Indicator test
The buzzer sounds once, and then the red lamp and green lamp flash alternately every one second.
OK (All tests): The buzzer sounds once, and the green lamp illuminates for 5 seconds.
NG (Either of the tests): The buzzer sounds three times, and the red lamp illuminates for 5 seconds.
Speaker check
The buzzer sounds twice, and the passenger’s side door speaker* beeps.
Microphone check
The buzzer sounds three times, and your voice is played though the microphone to the passenger’s side door speaker*.
Test report
Checks the telephone line.
note *: When diagnosis code B1856 and B1864 are set, the e-Call speaker will respond instead.
